The Fourth Annual Evening with Laura Wright
Friday, July 23, 2010, 7:30 – 9:30 pm.

It’s that time of year again; General Hospital’s Fan Club Weekend will be here before you know it and your weekend will certainly not be complete without attending Laura’s event! The last few years have been a blast, but we’re looking forward to making this year even better! We’ll be auctioning off select items, there will be games, a chance to take photos and you’ll get to spend time with Laura. You won’t want to miss it! All profits from this event will go to The One Campaign. With your help we hope to make another great donation this year. So bring your checkbooks and cash and get ready to have a great time!

Laura’s husband John, will also be there, pouring complimentary tastings of Standing Sun Wines. Wines will also be available to purchase on site, and Laura will sign them. Please visit http://www.standingsunwines.com to learn more about John and Laura’s winery and vineyard.

This year’s event will be held at the Airtel Plaza Hotel in Van Nuys, California. Tickets are $75 each. Reservations are required as there will be limited seating so get your tickets fast! Reserve your ticket with a $25.00 per person deposit now. The remaining money due can be paid in cash at the door of the event.

First of all, sorry for the lack of updates…that’ll change, hopefully! I finally got all of January’s screencaps up to date. You can find the links to those albums below. Just a side bit of info, if you plan on going to Laura’s wine tasting in Calabash, NC in February tickets are going fast so be sure to get yours secured. If you would like to attend please send an email to John to make your reservation. Tickets are $75 for each night. Laura will also be on the Soap Cruise which sets sail from Miami, FL on January 28, 2010. There are still some cabins available for purchase. Check out SoapCruise.com for more info. Annnnnd we’re back!

Hey guys! I finally was able to get this puppy back online! I hope you all enjoy the new look courtesy of AM2M Designs — I love it! All of the pages are back up, that was the main thing I wanted to get done. I’m working on a new layout for the gallery so that it matches the main site. As for clips & caps, I ran into a problem when my recorder decided to crap out on me. I have *sort of* been able to get clips going, but caps are another story, I’ll have to figure out another way to get those done. In the meantime I have added some new episode stills to the gallery so be sure to check those out.

The main reason I wanted to put the site back online now is because Laura’s got some appearances lining up that you ALL should attend. You can find all of her upcoming appearances in the sidebar to the left. As you can see she’s scheduled a wine tasting in February at her parent’s pancake house in Calabash, NC. If you think you are able to attend, GO, you’ll have a blast! Other things…affiliates, I cleaned them out and left the ones that are still online and updated at least every once in awhile. If you would like to become an affiliate please send an email so we can exchange links. I think that’s about it for now, I’m sure I’ll think of something else later. OH — see…I think I’m going to start posting Laura’s first few months on GL, it’s some seriously great stuff and I think you all should see it. So be on the lookout for that.

I’ve added the rest of last week’s and this Monday’s GH caps, some July 2006 caps, and a few new episode stills. I also added some more Guiding Light caps from 2003. Links to those albums are below. One last thing, if any of you are attending Soap Opera Mania: On Tour (Laura’s appearances kick off this coming weekend in Cleveland, OH) I would love pics, recaps, video, etc. If you would like to contribute anything to the site just drop me an email. You will of course be credited with anything that you donate and it will be much appreciated! Oh and I’m sure some of you have seen it but Laura has a PSA airing now about volunteering. I’ve only seen it on primetime (usually after Grey’s Anatomy), but I added caps of it to the gallery and will upload the video (courtesy of Tanya) within the next few days.
